Join Adblock Bristol at our community arts billboard on Saturday 18th April, 1-4pm, to paint the colours onto a beautiful new artwork by Bristol artist Matilda Smith.
Featuring snails, woodlice, flowers, which we’ll fill in with bright colours, the piece is a celebration of urban nature and the feeling of slowing down to take it all in. Nearby the arts billboard, nature thrives in St Werburgh’s City Farm and allotments, Narroways nature reserve and Mina Road park – where some of the plane trees are more than 140 years old.
We’ll bring ladders, paints and brushes. All welcome, no artistic experience or expertise needed! You might want to bring overalls or wear clothes you don’t mind getting painty.
